Rich in texture, this avocado puree provides the perfect foundation for any number of vegetables, fish or meat. This puree has a  creamy and buttery taste to impress  the discerning.
This puree is good for anybody, specially  those who like having a healthy diet. It is very  good for those who have  high blood sugar, high blood pressure or cholesterol problems. There is no oil to this recipe which is very easy to make.
Preparation times 10 minutes.
Serves 3 to 4.
200 g avocado flesh
50 g macadamia nuts or your choice of nuts
1 clove garlic, peeled
1 tbs fresh lime or lemon juice 
1/2 to 3/4 level tsp ground pink Himalayan salt or your choice of salt  
5 g fresh turmeric root or 1/4 level tsp (optional) ground turmeric 
250 ml water
1. Place nuts, turmeric root and garlic into food processor or blender until finely chopped.
2. Add the avocado, salt, lime juice and water to nuts mixture and process until pureed.
Hints & Tips;
Cover and keep puree in refrigerator up to two days.


Blanched almonds may be substituted for macadamia nuts.
